Helping Us Set the Table
Helping Us Set the Table
As we head into the giving season, we want to share why your support matters more than ever. We’re now serving about 450 meals every Monday—a 20% increase over last year—and every week we meet new neighbors who are struggling to get by.
This is the time of year when many nonprofits turn to their communities for support, and Monday Night Hospitality is no exception. The need has grown, and we simply can’t keep up without the generosity of people like you. This newsletter highlights two of our end-of-year fundraising efforts, and we would be deeply grateful for your continued support in this time of need.
Thank you for everything you’ve already done for our guests. Your generosity truly makes a difference and helps us set the table every Monday.
Make Mondays Warmer for All!
a $25 donation provides 5–6 hot meals for neighbors in need.
We’re excited to share that our Season of Hope Fundraising Campaign is underway. We’re also thrilled to announce that a generous anonymous donor has agreed to match the first $15,000 in contributions, doubling the value of donations up to the match limit.
Supporters can make a general gift to Monday Night Hospitality or contribute in honor of a specific Monday Nighter—a volunteer or friend of MNH whose commitment inspires them. Although the campaign officially kicks off on Giving Tuesday (December 2nd) and runs through January 2nd, donations are welcome before the launch.
As the kickoff date gets closer, keep an eye on our social media pages for updates, stories, and ways to help spread the word. The Season of Hope is one of our most important efforts of the year, and we’re grateful for your support.
Service Snapshots at Monday Night
On Thursday, December 4, our friends at J.McLaughlin (1004 Lexington Avenue) will host a special holiday shopping day and gift market to support Monday Night Hospitality. Throughout the day, shoppers can browse the store’s seasonal collection alongside unique gifts from Lele Sadoughi, Kinderbrook Home, and Cipoletti Cucina, each offering beautifully crafted items for the holidays.
The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and a portion of all in-store sales will be donated directly to MNH. It’s a wonderful opportunity to find gifts for friends and family while also helping us continue to welcome our neighbors with warmth and dignity every Monday.
If you’re in the neighborhood, we hope you’ll stop by, say hello, and enjoy a bit of festive shopping—all in support of our work and our community.
