MUSIC to our ears

This year at MNH we have had the honor to grace our guests with live music every Monday. From a pianist, guitar players, 2 man bands and an opera singer, music helps create a calm and soothing atmosphere for us and most importantly our guests. Below are some of these amazing artists whom have donated their time.

A former English teacher and then actor, Radcliffe eventually channeled his creativity into his music, fashioning songs of love, loss and the search for self that fans everywhere could embrace as personal anthems.

With a songwriting style that reveals a deep affection for melody, structure and harmony, Radcliffe has taken his music on tours around the country, outreach missions to Guatemala, and even a trip to #45 on the adult contemporary charts with "In the sun."

Catch him live to hear what long-time fans already know.

Nathan Siler is a New York City-based composer, performer, orchestrator and producer. His passions as a musician are equally divided among playing in rock bands, singing classical music in choirs and as a soloist, recording, engineering, and producing for classical, pop, and music theater recordings, and composing original music within the classical idiom. He is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in bass (upright and electric), guitar (acoustic and electric), banjo, balalaika, accordion, and drums.

Siler’s original songs are frequently performed by Portraiture, which began as a guitar pop band. Although Portraiture was created as a mouthpiece for Siler’s original music, the band has evolved into an ensemble with multiple contributors and guest musicians (including composers Shawn Bartels and Warren Loy). Portraiture released their second album in August of 2017 entitled “Cruel Yellow” which is compact, punchy, and maximally produced within the confines of guitar, bass, drums, and percussion.

My slogan is ‘opera for the people’, and I’ve been entertaining people in this way for the last two years (and loving it too). I’ve sung at parties, dinners, private house concerts, for film festivals, for charities, at weddings, funerals and all occasions. I’m there to sing for anyone in whatever situation they would like. I can sing at your party, your dinner, in your garden, at your wedding, in your home, or anywhere else you would like me to sing. I also have a schools package too and can sing on a ‘pay what you like’ basis too if enough people can be organised to come and listen and donate at the end. It’s all about YOU, the people!!!!
